Madyson's 1 year picture
Catch-up
The last six months have flown by and not without a lot of changes in our home.
The biggest change is the amazing birth of our second little girl, Lilly Ann. She was born at 1:08 PM 11/22/2011 weighing 7 lbs 3 ozs and 19 inches long. We are so excited and feel so blessed that we have another beautiful little girl. Madyson absolutely LOVES her little sister and is always trying to help me care for Lilly. The first couple of days after we brought Miss Lilly Ann home Madyson noticed that every time Lilly Ann cried we put the pacifier in her mouth. She took it upon herself to re-name the pacifier to the cry-cry. Now every time she hears Lilly cry she runs to find her cry-cry. She also loves pointing out all Lilly's features: mouth, toes, fingers, eyes, nose, belly, and hair. This is sweet except when she tries to put her finger on these features without knowing her own strength.
Lilly has been a great baby. The first eight weeks came with a little challenge and some adjustment. She came home and decided she really enjoyed the sound of her own voice and wanted to let everyone else hear it as well. She fussed ALOT. Although she also slept really good. At about 4 weeks she would go 4 or 5 nights sleeping from 9PM - 5AM without waking up. Right around 8 weeks we adjusted her means of food and have noticed a HUGE difference in her little personality. Now she is as sweet as ever and if she is awake she is perfectly content sitting up watching the house and smiling. We took her for her 8 week doctors appt a little late due to us being in FL. So her 8 week appointment was actually when she was 10 weeks 3 days old, at that appointment she weighed in at 10 lbs 14 ounces. She is in the 25% for her weight and 75th for her height. This is totally different from her big sister. Madyson from very early on was always over 100% for both her height and weight.
Madyson is now 20 months old and is just wonderful. She has a personality to please and always wants to help. She is smiling and trying to entertain us 24/7. We have also noticed that she is quite the little sponge. Just the other day out of the blue she recited the alphabet to me only missing two letters. Then she went straight into singing Jesus Love Me, I just instantly started smiling, she makes us so proud. On a bit of a different note I think we might be approaching a bit of the terrible twos. She has definitely developed quite the little attitude and makes it VERY known when she is not happy with something or someone. Phill and I have both agreed that we have allot of work ahead of us with Madyson and teaching her to control her temper and her emotions.
The second half of January we traveled to visit my family in FL for three weeks. This was a much needed visit. It had been a year since I was able to visit since I am unable to fly while I am pregnant. Aside from the fact that everyone had the flu the trip was great and we had a wonderful time seeing my family and our friends.
I am sure the next six months will go by just as fast as the last. Our little family of four is now complete and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for my beautiful baby girls.

GROWING FAMILY
Since March many things have happened. Phill turned the BIG 30, we found out we were expecting baby number 2 (Evelyn Ann (Evie)) on November 29th, Phill decided that he needed time off work so he went and broke his back. And plenty of other events that I am probably forgetting.
Thankfully Phill recovered from the trauma of turning 30 and braking his back and our house is back to normal. Madyson is getting to be such a big girl who loves to get into EVERYTHING. She has discovered how to climb into our drawers and climb onto the outer stairs. She is going to be 14 mths old on August 2nd and just decided that she wanted to start walking. She is by far an official "walker" but she has taken several steps. Before long I will be able to blog that she is running! As for other milestones; she is hitting and exceeding everything that she should be doing especially in the talking arena. She has a vocabulary bank of words in excess of 10 and is trying to say everything we say. She is such a blessing and joy to our lives. It is so hard to try to think about what we did for entertainment before she was born. We love her SOOO much.
Baby number two is definitely on her way. God is amazing and blessed us with a new little bundle of joy without much worry. We were told early on that we were expecting a boy to then to re-told that he was actually a she. We could not be more excited to meet our new little princess in November. The pregnancy is going well. The first 16 weeks were a little rough as I experienced pretty nasty nausea. That has since subsided but I am still really tired ALL the time and quite moody, just ask Phill :).
We really have quite a calm few months leading up to Evie's arrival. Phill is taking a FL trip with Madyson in August and since I am unable to travel pregnant I am taking a much needed mommy weekend.
I do not have pictures uploaded to post but I promise to post recent pics VERY soon.

Where is the Spring Weather??
The last few weeks have been pretty uneventful. We have officially baby proofed our house due to our little princess being extremely mobile. Speaking of Princess, she is having quite the tough time cutting these darn teeth. We broke our first top tooth, 3rd tooth total, on 3/6 and are working hard on that second top tooth. She is really putting up the fight and has let us know that she DOES NOT like teething.
The only other change to report would be that I am officially a part-time employee and no longer work on Fridays. This is something that I have been pursuing for quite some time and am sooooo happy that my employer finally approved it. More time with Phill and Madyson :)~.
I haven't really taken many pictures this past few weeks but will be sure to post some after this weekends big festivities.

Almost Spring!!!!
I cannot believe that it is already almost March. We have some pretty big happening in March. First Madyson turns 9 mths old (WOW), Phill turns 30 (Bigger WOW), and I turn 28 (little WOW). Another very exciting part of March is the weather is supposed to start changing and show more signs of Spring, THANK GOODNESS! This winter has seemed very long and cold! I am sooo excited to be able to finally get out side. Madyson cannot wait to go the park again!
The past few months have come and gone very quickly. Since I last posted we have had Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Valentines Day. For Thanksgiving we went down to Hutchinson and got to spend some much needed time with the Osner clan. Madyson loved seeing the family and enjoyed all the extra snuggles she received. Christmas this year was spent at our house in Kansas City. We had planned to go to Hutch for Christmas Eve then back to KC for Christmas day but Mr. Weather changed our plans and dumped LOTS of snow on us so we decided to stay warm and cozy in our little home. Phills parents came into town along with Craig, Phill's brother, and Marcy, Phills sister. Christmas day our good friends Charlie, Derek, and Logan Lokey came over along with Rudy, Patricia, and Emory Niswanger. We all enjoyed a huge feast prepared by Charlie (i helped a little :)). It was delicious, thanks Charlie!!! :)
For New Year's Phill, Madyson, and I boarded a plane to FL. We had a great time seeing all my family. My nephews are all getting so big. The boys loved playing with Madyson, just as much as she loved playing with them. She would just sit in her chair and laugh and stare at her crazy cousins. The last day of our trip we spent some alone time with Brennon, my brothers little bambino. Madyson and Brennon had a great time drooling on each other. That night we received a call from my soon to be sister in law that Brennon was in the hospital with RSV. A highly contagious virus. The next day Phill, Madyson, and I boarded a plane and we headed home. The next morning we woke up to a very sick little girl. We took her to urgent care to find out she too had RSV. It took us a solid two weeks to get over that, YUCKY!
Three weeks after being home from FL we received a call that my brother was in the Cardiac ICU having major heart issues. Madyson and I boarded a plane, again, to be with the family. That trip was hectic, lots of trips back and forth from the hospital. I helped Sean and Ann Marie with Brennon and sorta took over for them while Ann took care of Sean. The Sunday we headed back to KC he was released from the hospital with NO answers as to what is wrong with him. While in the hospital they drained 2 liters of fluid off his heart. They are continuing to monitor his situation and research what might be causing these issues. Continued prayers are very much appreciated. Yesterday (2/25) he was re-admitted to the hospital with the same symptoms as before. He has VERY bad chest pain and major troubles breathing. I know God will work his miracles and assist the doctors in determining what is causing these troubles we are just waiting patiently.
MADYSON: (The latest accomplishments of Madyson)
January 9th - BIG DAY - first tooth came through, starting reaching for momma and daddy, said momma (first word). Since then she says Momma, dadda, bababa. February 7th - Second Tooth.
February 10th - First Injury - Black Eye (she fell off the basement bed onto the concrete floor) OUCH.
February 25th - She is officially mobile, she started crawling (4 days prior to her 9mth birthday).
She still loves her sleep and goes to bed between 6 & 6:30 every night and wakes up at 6:30 in the mornings. We still have her taking two naps a day 9:30 and 2. The rest of her day is filled with eating and playing.
Life with Madyson still continues to delight us, she is just such a happy little girl. Sometimes I sit and try to remember what life was like prior to us having her and I just cannot do it. I absolutely LOVE being a mommy, this is the best gift ever.
That is it for now, I hope to post updates more often but make no promises. Below are some pictures from the past few months.

Wow 6 months already

Mady has really started to change and her personality is just shining. She laughs all the time and loves talking to you. She continues to grow more and more interested in Beef (our yellow lab). Last week she decided that she was a big girl and out of the blue started sitting up on her own. It was really fun to see her sit like a big girl next to Emory and Jossee in church this past Sunday. Another thing that I started noticing is she is started to mimic us alot more, it is so cute to make a face then watch her try to do it.

November
Madyson is continuing to bless our lives each and every day. As of November 2nd she is five months old, WOW. She is a doll and is full of so much life. She continues to love smiling and laughing and enjoys hearing herself talk and squeal. It is wonderful to hear her wake up from her naps just cooing away. She seems to have really tackled the task of rolling over and does it without much thought. We also discovered that she is strong enough to stand up and hold on to the ottoman with no assistance. She is a great sleeper. She is sleeping every night from 6:30pm to 6:30am and then tends to take three good naps a day. We are planning a trip soon to meet our new nephew, can't wait to the family.
Another great happening in October, Phill and I celebrated our fourth year of marriage. I just cherish every minute of our relationship and love the fact that everyday I fall more in love with my wonderful husband.
October was a busy month filled with lots of fun happenings. I will post pictures in just a few.
Happy fall to all!
