Where does time go? It has been six months since we were blessed with Madyson. I cannot beleive how quickly the time goes. We went to the doctors for her 6 mth appt last week and she weighed in at 20.1 lbs and 28 inches long, she is over the 100th percentile for both height and weight. I asked the doctor if this concerned him and he said no, he has a feeling she is going to be very tall (like her daddy). This past month was very busy for us. We were able to go to FL for an extra long weekend. Mady got to see all her cousins including Brennon who was born 10/16. We had such a wonderful time. She loved watching her cousins run around and had a great time laughing at them. Another milestone that happened in FL, Aunt Rosie fed her her first solid food, Green Beans. She did pretty well with them. Since she has eaten all the veggies and we are moving onto mixed veggies. She also still gets her bottle 4 x's a day (6ozs) and oatmeal in the afternoons. She continues to take great naps daily and sleeps from 6:30PM to 6:00 AM every night.
Mady has really started to change and her personality is just shining. She laughs all the time and loves talking to you. She continues to grow more and more interested in Beef (our yellow lab). Last week she decided that she was a big girl and out of the blue started sitting up on her own. It was really fun to see her sit like a big girl next to Emory and Jossee in church this past Sunday. Another thing that I started noticing is she is started to mimic us alot more, it is so cute to make a face then watch her try to do it.
December is going to be somewhat slow for us, we are having a low key Christmas with daddy's family. Then on December 31st we fly to FL for a 10 day trip. Above are a few recent pics. The first is one my sister, Rose, with Kaiden (he turned two this day), the second is my nephews Austin & Gavin. The 3nd is Mommy and Mady, 4th is Mady next to Brennon, the 5th is our green beans eating adventure, 6th is on the plane on the way to FL.
